My hourly rate is $180 / hour with a minimum of $100. You can get a general estimate by using my Pricing Estimator.
The length of your tattoo session is influenced by the size, placement, detail, color, and style of your tattoo. I can provide you with a pretty good estimate on the length of time it will take for your design.
However, session length can be impacted by how well you can sit for your session. If you are prone to movement, shaking, or twitching, it will increase the amount of time it takes to complete the tattoo.
Additionally, session length is affected by how frequently you need to take breaks. (Don't worry! You are not charged for breaks!)
Lastly, your skin type can affect the length of your session. Age, sun damage, thickness, stretch marks and scars can all have an impact on the amount of time it takes to complete your tattoo.
Although I always try to tattoo as efficiently as possible, your final bill will reflect the amount of time it takes to complete your tattoo.
Yes. There are no fees or commitments in scheduling a consultation! No payments are due until you are ready to schedule a session.
Yes. A non-refundable deposit of $180 is required to book an appointment. This deposit covers the cost of the time spent to draw and prep for the tattoo in case a client does not show up for their appointment or decides they want to do a complete redesign. This deposit also holds your time slot. Appointments always take priority over walk-ins.
(Note: The non-refundable deposit is reduced to $100 if your tattoo is expected to take less than an hour.)
All deposits must be made in cash or via Zelle.
For your final payment on the day of your appointment, I accept the following payment methods:
If you are willing and able, tips are a wonderful way to show appreciation for your artist’s time and effort. But, I understand that not everyone may be able to tip, and that's perfectly okay.
It is common to tip your tattoo artist between 15–20%.
The best way to book an appointment or consultation is to go to my homepage and click Book an Appointment. From there, we'll send a couple of emails back and forth and I will get you on the schedule.
Alternatively, you can message me on Instagram or visit Sanctum Tattoo Collective in person.
I'm usually pretty booked, so it's good to book at least 3 weeks ahead of time. I might have some openings sooner, but planning ahead ensures you get a time slot you're excited about.
To ensure the best experience on the day of your tattoo appointment, follow these preparation tips:
Bring the following items with you:
Show up at least 15 minutes before your appointment. If you are more than 30 minutes late, your session is considered cancelled and your deposit is forfeited.
Cancellations must occur at least 24 hours before the start time of your appointment or your session is considered cancelled and your deposit is forfeited.
Wear comfortable, lose-fitting clothing. Black or dark-colored clothing is best, as the tattoo ink can splatter and stain.
Make sure the tattoo area is easily accessible. You may be asked to remove clothing if necessary. If your tattoo is in a private area, pasties are provided and divider walls are available.
You can bring one friend with you, but they must be 18+ to be allowed in the shop.
Although animals are generally not permitted in the shop, we are compliant with ADA (Americans with Disabilites Act) regulations. Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are permitted.
Note: Support or therapy animals are not permitted. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
Most clients do the final approval on the day of their appointment. Please speak up if there is something you don't like about the design or placement. Adjustments and placement changes can be made before we begin.
Note: Designs are not sent directly to clients. However, you can optionally schedule a second consultation to pre-approve your finalized design.
A typical session usually looks something like this. Remember, you're only charged the hourly rate during the actual "tattoo time":
All of the information for how to take care of your new tattoo can be found on my Aftercare page.
Touch-ups are included at no cost, but you will still need to schedule an appointment in advance.

Yes. I use World Famouse Tattoo Inks, which are vegan and hypoallergenic.
The tattoo process involves a variety of tools, solutions, and materials. If you have any specific allergies (including food allergies), please message me ahead of time so we can ensure the booth is safe for you.
No. The tattoo process agitates the skin. If your skin is already agitated before we begin, it could lead to a bad experience for you and could also lead to other health concerns.
The level of pain experienced when getting a tattoo varies greatly from person to person and depends on several factors, including the location of the tattoo, your pain tolerance, and the size and complexity of the design.
Areas with more nerve endings, less fat, or closer to bones tend to be more painful, such as the ribs, feet, and hands. Most people describe the sensation as a scratching or burning feeling, which can range from mildly uncomfortable to quite intense.
I take pride in being a light-handed artist, meaning that most clients describe my style of tattooing as less-painful than many other artists. Communicate with me during the process. We can make adjustments to ensure your comfort and we can pause for breaks. Remember, the pain is temporary, but the result is a beautiful piece of art that lasts a lifetime!
If you're still nervous, there are other options. Before your appointment, ask me about numbing cream and we can plan to make that part of the process!
If you have any concerns about the healing process, contact me or Sanctum Tattoo Collective with any questions.
